PURPOSE: Pattern Generation System called CAD / CAM / CIM system is a mechanism for computerized pattern Designing and grading. This course is designed for the students who are already trained in Manual Pattern Cutting/Designing techniques to Polish the skills as well as convert the industry to computerized Pattern generation techniques for the development/up-gradation of the industry as well as enhance the skills of trained man power in the country.

Introduction to the basics of Computer
To understand History of Computer, Baics of Computer, What compuer operation are and its importance in this new Era.

What is Industrial Atomization
To recognize the different operations which can be carried out on the machines with the help of computer.

Introduction to the basics of pattern
Know how the sketches (pattern), shapes, names etc

Basics of Corel Draw (designing in corel draw)
to draw the specification sheet and sample sketch of complete garment.

Introduction to CAD, CAM , CIM System.
To develop an understanding of some of the techniques which are useful in pattern design system.

Advantage of CAD/CAM with automization in Apparel Industry.
To comparison the use of CAD/CAM/CIM system with manual work.

Computerized Pattern Disigning, Alteration and Grading.
